Going the Extra Mile for One Client – or Not? 🤔
Baruch HaShem (Thank G-d), over the past year, Jump Into Shape has grown from just one exercise program to nearly twenty! 💪🎉 Sometimes, I think, "maybe that’s enough." Sometimes.
Then, as often happens, a member reaches out with a request. This time, he wanted 12-minute beginner classes with:
✅ 20-second exercise sets
✅ 20-second rest breaks
✅ No bodyweight exercises—just weights and jump rope
What to do? 🤷♂️ Tell him to adjust—or build something new?
On one hand, Jump Into Shape customizes programs, but we can’t create a new program for every person. On the other hand, if one member wants it, could others benefit too?
As a business owner, I always weigh the time and cost. Since I can personally lead these workouts, there’s no outside expense—just a small tweak to my routine. I typically do a 20–30 min workout for new programs, so adding this isn’t a stretch.
💡 Plan: Build out a 24-class series, starting with 3 per week—which aligns with the member’s schedule. And if he wants more? I’ll happily add more!
### Takeaways for Any Business Owner:
✅ Listen to your clients! Their needs can inspire great offerings.
✅ Assess the cost. Will it take up too much time or money?
✅ Consider the bigger picture. Will others benefit?
✅ Is it easy to implement? Small tweaks can create big value.
✅ Always pray to G-d for guidance. 🙏
Many blessings,
Moshe
