NEVER SAY NEVER... for the first time in 85 years in our family a bar mitzvah boy lained (read) from the Torah... if you ask me what led to this event, it is simple - lots of prayers... from praying to find a spouse, to having kids, to raising them... prayer is the foundation of it all...
of note, I prayed at an earlier service and filmed this mostly against my wishes... I still wished not to bring my phone into even a service I wasn't praying at, but our son asked me to film him and so did my wife as she wasn't there... in the end I relented as I was praying at the service...
