Since COVID, many of us spend part of the week working from home. But whether you’re at home, in the office, or anywhere else, chances are you’re sitting too much—and that’s a problem.

That’s why I started using a portable standing desk—at home, at work, and even at shul while learning or during tefillah. Do I get some strange looks? Sure. Do I care? Not at all. My health matters. Sitting for too long makes me stiff and uncomfortable. If I can prevent back pain, improve focus, and boost my energy just by standing, why wouldn’t I?
